Description
NSA-rated O-5 for high-security destruction, the PowerTEC 717 OS Optical Media Shredder is NSA/CSS 04-02 approved and supports the top-secret, CD/DVD shredding needs of military and government agencies. Chain-driven motor delivers continuous-duty shredding with 2mm x 4mm shreds and slip-free power. Automatic EvenFlow Lubricator provides continuous oil across the cutting cylinders. Rubber shock mounts suspend the cutting head and reduce vibration. Automatic jam protection eliminates frustration. LED keypad with easy-to-use controls allows simple operation. This optical shredder is precision-engineered and will provide many years of trouble-free operation. Thermally protected motor prevents overheating. Self-cleaning mode ensures optimal performance. TAA-compliant shredder also features a 5" feed width, steel cabinet with rolling casters and easy-to-empty, 20-gallon waste bin. It is extremely quiet (55 decibels) and will not disrupt normal office activities.
