Star shaped, complete, and balanced. Supplies all the known nutrients, including taurine, required by cats for proper growth and maintenance. No artificial colors or flavors. Locked formula product - no ingredient substitutions. Contains protein from multiple sources including poultry, fish, and processed vegetables, which assists in the proper balance of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, assuring good health and proper growth for cats. Contains approximately 1460 metabolizable energy kilocalories per pound. Adult Cats: Can be fed dry. Offer 1/2 to 1-1/2 cups to your cat daily. Growing kittens may require 2 to 3 times the suggested amount. Adjust to your cat's needs. Kittens: At about 4 weeks of age kittens should be ready to eat some semi-solid food. Make a moistened mixture of milk or water and Kit & Cat cat food. Feed all they can eat in 3 hours twice a day. Gradually reduce the amount of liquid each month until the cat is on an adult dry feeding schedule at 6 months of age.
