Description

AC/DC powered, ionization smoke alarm. Operates on 120-volt power source with a 9-volt battery back-up. Uses ionization sensing technology which detects invisible fire particles sooner than photoelectric alarms. Features a front-loading battery door which allows user to change the battery without removing alarm from mounting bracket. Battery life varies according to use and application. Large mounting base makes mounting easier and protects surface paint from dirt and covers imperfections. Pre-stripped wiring harness with easy-off cap does not require stripper tool. Tinned strands increase conductivity and wire-nut grip. Features a large test/Hush alarm control button and dust cover to protect sensor from contaminates reducing nuisance alarms. Interconnectable with up to 24 devices including smoke, carbon monoxide, and heat alarms.
