Type 196 78 In. Box Level is ideal for framing, trim carpentry, and tile applications. Unique BOX BEAM frame does not bend or warp. One horizontal vial and two vertical vials. Crystal clear vials readable in any direction with no change in accuracy tolerance, guaranteed for life, vial accuracy of .029 in the vial-up or vial-down position. Best frame strength-to-weight ratio. Removable endcaps for scribing in corners and for reading tight header and sill openings. Rubber endcaps grip walls and do not leave marks. Metal hang hole for storing level on site. Large comfortable rubber hand holes. Fast and accurate installations. Each Stabila level is electronically adjusted. Machine milled faces assure measuring accuracy. Unbreakable acrylic vials won't break, leak, or fog for life. Type 196 level has a heavy-duty profile designed to fit in a standard 80 In. door opening. This allows a contractor to plumb down the jamb legs and eliminate bows in the door frame. Also included is a 24 In. to 40 In. Type 80T Extendable Level. The 80T fits most door openings that are found in residential construction. Achieve a perfect fit for headers by simply locking the 80T to the exact door size using the measurement scale on the level.
