Have more fun griddling on the game-changing, 28 rust-resistant Weber Slate Griddle that is ready to cook on right out of the box and stays ready, not rusty, use after use. Weber Slate cooktops are made differently than other griddles. The carbon-steel gets transformed under extreme heat and pressure that case hardens and bonds the surface, reducing the ability for moisture to collect and rust to form. It is then pre-seasoned with food-safe oils that condition the metal for an extra boost of rust resistance and a natural, easy-release cooking surface right out of the box. No use of coatings means you can use metal tools to flip, press, and scrape without worry. It reaches over 500 Deg F and heats evenly edge-to-edge for consistently cooked food across the cooktop. Plus, with the Weber Works Prep, Cook, and Store System you can keep cooking and cleaning supplies handy, carry food and condiments from the kitchen to the griddle, convert the side table into a prep station and stow gear in tightly sealed containers (accessories sold separately).
